  • RECENT CHS GRADUATE OLIVIA SWENSON PAYS IT FORWARD
Olivia saw the graffiti someone had placed on the "Welcome to Cheney" sign on Cheney-Spokane Road, and she decided to clean it up! She painted over the graffiti on the sign - and one man stopped because he thought she was "tagging" it. He was pleasantly surprised to discover that she was refurbishing it. The sign looks great again! If everyone does just a little, it all adds up! Thank you, Olivia, for your community pride and service!

  • WATER CONSERVATION: IT STARTS WITH US!
Please join us in conserving water this summer. Cheney Public Schools is working with our cities to promote water conservation. For example, in the City of Airway Heights we will be using reclaimed water for our playfields. Although this is not an option currently available in the City of Cheney, our goal is to keep our playfields green and available for summer use while achieving our water conservation goals.
